Dear Fellow Parent of a Teenager,

I’m looking for a client I can work with to help them empower their teen to succeed in high school and prepare for college.

If you are that client, I will personally work with you and your teen to create an actionable plan to guide your teen in the development of the skills needed to succeed in high school and prepare for college.

You Pay Nothing For This Coaching Call And The Plan We Develop

Here's why:

College And Career Readiness Coaching Strategy Session For Students is a free online coaching session designed to help your teen develop a plan to build the skills and experiences they need to succeed in the classroom and on the job.

There’s no charge for this coaching session, and it only takes an hour for us to do together.

I’ll even do most of the heavy lifting for you...
  • I will show your teen how to develop the skills they need to succeed in high school and prepare for college.
  • We will discuss a very practical and effective way for your teen to document their skills and experiences.
  • I will provide your teen with strategies and tactics that they can use to leverage their skills.
At the end of this initial strategy session one of the following three things will happen:
 1. You and your teen will love the plan and decide to implement it on your own. If this is the case, I’ll wish you the best of luck and ask that you keep in touch with me to let me know how you’re doing.

2. You and your teen will love the plan and ask to become my client so I can personally help you execute, maximize, and benefit from it. If that’s the case, we’ll knock it out of the park... And that’s a promise.

3. In the unlikely event that you and your teen feel like you wasted your time on the call with me and got no value out of the plan we developed together, I will send you a $25 gift card. No questions asked. Your time is valuable, and I respect that.

It really is that simple, and there’s no catch.
Think about this:

The “worst” that can happen is that I send you a $25 gift card for “wasting” an hour of your time.

The best that can happen is we work together to enable your teen to meet their educational and career goals.

That’s Why This Is The Closest Thing
To GUARANTEED RESULTS You’ll Ever See

Here’s how it’ll work:

First, we get on Zoom, and I show your teen how to create an inventory of the skills they need to succeed in high school and prepare for college. We will, of course, also discuss ways in which your teen can actually develop these skills.

During our call I will help your teen develop a plan to leverage Soft Skills Synergy.

Soft Skills Synergy is the key to building skills that work together to empower your teen to succeed in high school and college and prepare for a great start to their career.

Let me explain...
Skills in time management, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving are commonly referred to as soft skills.

These skills work together synergistically with leadership skills and academic success skills to empower your teen to succeed in the classroom.

Plus, employers highly value soft skills.

Think of it like this: equipping your teen with leadership skills, soft skills, and academic success skills while they are in high school can boost their success right now and also prepare them for future college and career success.

Once we have this covered, we will discuss a very practical and effective way your teen can document their skills and experiences.

There are a number of ways to do this, but I have developed an easy-to-use system:

Think in terms of your teen keeping an up-to-date record of their leadership and service experiences, outcomes and impacts of their activities, and a collection of reference letters and testimonials.

And if your teen is ambitious, I can teach them strategies and tactics that they can use to leverage their skills.

Your teen can leverage their skills in two main ways.

First, of course, your teen will use their success skills to increase their productivity and perform at the level of their ability in the classroom and on the job.

Leveraging their skills also means that your teen can increase their competitiveness for scholarships, awards, and jobs by incorporating evidence of their skills, experiences, and achievements into their cover letters and resumes and applications.

And like I said, there’s no charge for this.

So Why Would I Offer Free Coaching?

Two reasons:

First of all, I enjoy it. My professional passion is helping students start to really perform at the level of their ability.

Secondly, it’s how I attract top-level clients.

Here's How It Works

Assuming you’re happy with the actionable plan we build together on Zoom, and you want more personalized help, you and your teen probably will want to continue working with me long-term so I can help you implement the plan.

If this is the case, I might invite you and your teen to become one of my clients.

My coaching fee is $175 per hour, and I don't require you to sign a long-term contract.

Let me put my coaching fee in context.

The cost of a SINGLE CREDIT HOUR of tuition at a typical public, 4-year university is $390 (Hanson. 2022).

So, my hourly coaching fee is less than half of the cost of an hour of college tuition.

And, if you think about it, my fees are an investment in your teen's future.
Why?

Because I expect your teen to be well on their way to developing, documenting, and leveraging their skills to get the grades they are capable of getting in high school within a semester... and if we keep working together, I’m confident your teen will be well-prepared for college...

Actually, I can give you a strategy to train up your teens in the way they should go and an outline to enable your teen to succeed in high school and prepare for college during our first conversation - which is free!

Plus, you’ll see the value by the time we end our call together.

I also want you to know that I can work within most family budgets. So, we can create a fee structure to make sure your teen gets the personalized attention she needs.

And look:
If you don’t want to become a client, don’t worry about it. You won’t get any high-pressure sales pitch.

In fact, here’s my promise to you...

You Will Find Our Conversation To Be Incredibly Valuable,
Or I'll Send You A $25 Gift Card To Compensate You For Your Time

Now, obviously this is an amazing offer which you’ll probably never see from any other “college and career readiness guru.”

Think about it.

I’m personally crafting an actionable plan specifically tailored to your teen’s unique gifts and calling - up front & for free - and then letting you pay me later if (and only if) you decide to work together long term.
Plus, I’m taking it one BOLD step further by guaranteeing you’ll find our call immensely valuable - or I’ll send you a $25 gift card just for wasting your time.

Just tell me, and it’s yours. No questions asked.

Who Else Would Do That?

Probably nobody.

But I’m happy to put it on the line like this because I have worked with students for over 25 years, and I know how to enable them to get great results.

What I will teach your teen works, and I know that if we work together, we can enable your teen to succeed in high school and prepare for college.
Consider this:

I'm the guy who parents go to for expert advice to help them quickly and easily equip their teens with the skills they need to succeed in high school and prepare for college.

I founded Skills 4 Students, LLC, and wrote “Success Skills for High School, College, and Career.”

My books are available in secular and Christian editions and have appeared on Best-Seller lists in College & University Student Life, Study Skills, Children & Teens Christian Ed, and Christian Youth Ministry.

Prior to starting my own business, I spent 20 years as a professor teaching and advising 1,200 university students. I served as director of a college-level recruiting and career center, department chair, and associate dean for academic programs.

I taught leadership and academic success classes and received numerous university teaching and mentoring awards.

I recently received a Parent and Teacher Choice Award from HowToLearn.com and a 2021 Trailblazer Award from Nepris. I also was recognized as a Global Presence Ambassador by Parenting 2.0 for my commitment to developing success skills in young people.

And My Experience Empowering Students Is Backed Up By Real-World Results:

Before you take action, take a look at what one of my most successful clients is saying...

“Dr. Green came alongside my son in his early high school years and gave him the essential tools he needed to successfully navigate high school and college. If you are interested in giving your child the skills he/she needs before they get there, then Dr. Green's coaching is a must.” Diana K.

Further, my books and unique approach to empowering young people with soft skills have garnered praise from well-respected thought leaders...

“Dr. Green has a unique approach of integrating leadership, soft skills, and academic success skills which is precisely what makes him an invaluable resource and go-to person for schools, parents, and teachers who want to build success skills in their students.” – Pat Wyman, Founder and CEO of HowToLearn.Com

“Dr. Cary Green has identified one under-explored element of success for students and young professionals: the soft skills necessary to be great. Success Skills for High School, College and Career is chock-full of insight, useful tips and hands-on exercises to develop the tools everyone needs to be more effective” – John Hupalo, President, Invite Education

Dr. Marshall Goldsmith, Thinkers 50 #1 Leadership Thinker in the World and World’s #1 Executive Coach, said this about my first book on leadership and soft skills: “Recent college graduates are more innovative, creative, and dynamic than ever – yet many haven’t had the time to develop the set of soft, fluid skills required for success over the long haul. Dr. Green has compiled everything they need to know into one excellent resource!”

Anyway - as you can imagine, I expect to get a LOT of interest from this letter.

And that’s why I need you to read this next part carefully...

This Coaching Strategy Session Is NOT For Everybody. Here’s Who I CAN Help...

Due to the tremendous amounts of time and effort that I put into personalized coaching, I’m highly selective when it comes to accepting clients, and I’ve got 2 important criteria that must be met in order for us to proceed.
  • Your teen must be committed to their education and career.
Developing the skills and experience your teen needs to succeed in the classroom and on the job takes time. Therefore, I only work with students who are willing to put in the time and hard work today that will pay dividends in the future.
  • Your teen must be coachable.
I expect your teen to follow through on the strategies and tactics I give them. We will develop the plan together, but your teen must be committed to following through. Otherwise, we are wasting my time and yours.

Here’s What I Want You To Do Next

If your teen meets these criteria and would like to work with me, then we should talk.

Here’s how the process works:

First, you’ll need to fill in an application on the next page. Don’t worry, it’s simple.

I just need to know where your teen currently is at with their college prep progress, get an idea of what you and your teen want to accomplish, and so forth.

I’m also going to ask for a refundable “Serious Inquiries Only” deposit of $25.

Honestly, I don’t really care about the $25. I’m just using it as a filter to keep the “tire-kickers” at bay.

I’ll give it back right after our Zoom conversation (unless I take you as a client - and in that case, I can apply it to your balance.)

Here’s What Will Happen After That

Once I have your refundable deposit and your application, I'll send you an invite to my Private Coaching Calendar so we can set up a time for us to talk.

Our initial Zoom conversation will be an hour.

This is where we really begin working to figure out exactly what your teen needs to move forward on their academic and career goals... and how to make it happen.

I’ll painstakingly review your teen’s goals and expectations, what's working now and what needs to immediately change, and so forth... and I’ll deliver a long-term plan to help your teen get the grades they are capable of getting and prepare for college.

Then, if you see the value in becoming a private client, great! We can talk about it.

And if you don’t want to become a client - that’s OK too. I’ll return your deposit as soon as we finish our Zoom session. No biggie.

And if you tell me I’ve wasted your time, I’ll send you a $25 gift card.

So, you literally can’t lose.

WARNING - TIME IS A FACTOR

Due to the time and effort requirements mentioned above, it is impossible for me to work with more than a handful of families.

Also, please understand that I expect a very large demand for this coaching session, so, with that said, know that the window of opportunity won’t be open long.

If you feel like this coaching strategy session is right for you and your teen, please click on the button below, leave your application, and let’s talk.

Sincerely,
Cary J. Green, PhD
